Goodyear Racing Wins 5 division 7 Championships

Chip Rumis as well as 4 our racers won NHRA Division 7 Championships in 2011 all on Goodyear Racing tires. Rumis wrapped up the championship with a runner-up finish at the season finale at the Strip at Las Vegas Motorspeedway. The championship was won by only 56 points over competitor Richard Okerman, also a Goodyear racer. Rumis also finished 5th in the division in Top Dragster.

Top Alcohol was also dominated in 2011 by Goodyear racers Jim Whiteley, Top Alcohol Dragster and John Lombardo Jr, Top Alcohol Funny Car. Both racers wrapped up the championship at Las Vegas. Whiteley won his championship on a second round victory over Flemington, New Jersey resident Jackie Fricke. Whiteley would go on to win the race and finish 3rd overall in National Points.
